EASTER BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tbsp. warm water
1 tsp. sugar
2/3 c. scalded milk, cool
1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, milk and flour. Cover with plastic wrap and make rise 45 minutes in a warm place. 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. melted shortening 2 eggs (set aside some for top of loaf) 3 - 3 1/2 c. flour

Add all ingredients to above mixture. Knead until smooth, about 10 minutes. Let rise two hours. Divide dough in half. Shape loaves into two plats. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Top with beaten egg. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
