EASY CHINESE BROCCOLI BEEF 
1 bunch fresh broccoli, sliced lengthwise
1 lb. top round steak, thinly sliced
4 tbsp. oil
6 green onions, sliced
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. sherry
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in skillet or wok. Add beef and saute; remove beef and set aside. Add remaining 2 tablespoons oil to skillet. Saute broccoli and onions for 5 minutes. Stir together water, soy sauce, wine and cornstarch. Add sugar and ginger. Pour over vegetables. Add meat and cover. Reduce heat and simmer until broccoli is tender (5-10 minutes). Serve over rice. Serves 4.
