YASOO BEEF SANDWICHES 
2 to 2 1/2 lbs. top round steak
1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
1 c. oil
1/4 c. dry wine
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 c. plain yogurt
8 pita breads
1 sm. onion, chopped

Place beef in shallow pan. Spread onions over top. Blend in oil, wine, lemon juice, salt, oregano, parsley, pepper and garlic powder. Pour over beef and refrigerate about 6 hours.

Broil meat, basting with marinade. Thinly slice meat on a diagonal and keep warm. Arrange meat on a large platter along with dishes of tomatoes, onion, and yogurt. Season with parsley and oregano. Serves 8.
