DEEP DISH PIE (Peach or Mango) 
1 stick butter
Peaches or Mangoes (not green - not too ripe)
3/4 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk

Melt butter in pan you will use to bake pie. Add the fruit (cut up and use as much fruit as you like). Sprinkle sugar over fruit (not the sugar in the recipe), using 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar.

Mix flour, sugar and milk in a bowl and pour over fruit. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until brown. Serve with whipped sweetened cream or vanilla ice cream.
