GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans (16 oz. each) green beans, drained
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 can tomato soup
5 med. potatoes, cooked and mashed
1/2 c. hot milk
1 egg, beaten
Paprika
Shredded cheese, if desired

Spread green beans in bottom of a 1 1/2 quart flat baking dish. Brown beef and onions, salt and pepper. Drain and spread over green beans. To the potatoes add the milk, egg and salt and pepper to taste.

Put in mounds on top of beef. Sprinkle with paprika or cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
