HONEY ORANGE BREAD 
1 c. whole bran cereal
4 tsp. shredded orange peel
1 c. orange juice
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. Crisco
1 egg
2 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine cereal and 1/2 cup orange juice; let stand several minutes. Stir together honey, sugar and Crisco. Add egg, orange peel and mix well. Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add flour mixture and 1/2 cup orange juice, beating after each addition. Stir in cereal-orange juice mixture. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool on rack.
