CHERRY PUDDING 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
milk
cherries

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Cut in butter as for pie crust. Beat egg in a measuring cup. Add enough milk to make 3/4 cup of liquid. Add egg-milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Add 1 pint fresh cherries, stoned or 1 can drained and stoned sour cherries. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold with sugar and cream.
