2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. sweetened condensed milk 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 c. butter 2 c. brown sugar Scant 2 c. quick cooking oats Melt 1 cup butter and add the flour, soda, salt, brown sugar and oats. Press the crumbs into a greased jelly roll pan, 15 1/2" x 10 1/2", saving about 1/2 cup for the top. Put the first 5 ingredients in a microwave safe dish and microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes until the chips are soft. Stir until the mixture is smooth, then pour over the crumbs, spreading evenly. Sprinkle on the remaining crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. |
