RICE PUDDING 
1/2 gal. milk
1 1/4 c. Mahatma long grain rice
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. rose water
Pinch of salt

Put milk in a pot on medium heat until it gets to a warm temperature. Add the rice and let it cook, stirring often. When rice is cooked and milk starts to thicken, stir continuously to avoid burning. Add the sugar when the mixture has reached the desired thickness. Remove from the heat and add rose water. Pour into individual bowls or one large bowl. Refrigerate.
