CRANBERRY PUDDING 
PUDDING:

2 c. cranberries, cut in half
1/2 c. molasses (2/3 of it may be corn syrup)
1/2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Cut cranberries in half and place in pan of double boiler. Cover cranberries with molasses. Add baking soda to boiling water, then pour this over cranberry-molasses mixture. Stir to mix. Mixture will bubble and foam. Steam in double boiler for 1 1/2 hours. Do not peak until finished! Serve warm or cold with sauce ladeled on top. A sweet, bread type pudding.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all sauce ingredients and heat in top of double boiler or carefully on stove in small saucepan over low heat. Do not boil.

Pour spoonful (large) over serving of pudding.
