SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. lemon extract or lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sour milk with 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda dissolved in milk
Flour with 3 tsp. baking powder, enough flour to roll real soft, usually around 4 c.

Mix all ingredients and as above enough flour to make a soft batter. Roll out 1/3 at a time; cut with round cookies cutter. I use biscuit cutter; bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 10 minutes, very lightly browned, at 350-375 degrees depending on size of oven.
