BAKED ONION DIP | |
4 (8 oz. ea.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 3 to 4 cups minced onion 1/2 cup mayonnaise (Hellmann's or Best Foods) 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese (not the Kraft shaker!) Note: Frozen diced onions can be found in your grocer's freezer section and can be used and minced when partially frozen. Preheat oven to 425°F. Soften cream cheese. Mince onions. Beat cream cheese on low then medium speed until creamy. Add mayonnaise. Add onion - beat at low speed until completely blended. Blend in, by hand, grated Parmesan cheese until thoroughly mixed. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes until browned and bubbly. Serve with melba toast or crackers. Submitted by: Merry Uhrinek |
