RHUBARB CUSTARD PIE | |
4 c. rhubarb 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 3 egg yolks 2 tbsp. butter MERINGUE: 3 egg whites 6 tbsp. sugar Pinch cream of tartar Mix rhubarb, sugar, flour, egg yolks and butter; place in prepared uncooked pie crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn oven to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove pie from oven and spread on beaten meringue and cook 10 more minutes. |
