SHEPHERD'S PIE 
1 lb. ground beef (lean)
1 sm. onion
1 beef bouillon cube (crushed)
1 qt. of water
3 lg. mashing potatoes
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Peel and slice potatoes. Put them on to boil.

2. Brown meat and onions. Drain.

3. Return beef/onions to pan.

4. Add bouillon cube.

5. Add water and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.

6. Mash potatoes according to own taste.

Place meat mixture into individual serving bowls and spoon potatoes on top. My kids love peas on the side or on top of potatoes!

You may add many veggies to the meat mixture as long as they are cooked separately and added during simmering stage (i.e., carrots, mushrooms).
