COOKED STRAWBERRY JAM 
3 3/4 c. crushed strawberries
7 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 bottle liquid pectin

Wash ripe strawberries, remove stems and crush. Add sugar, lemon juice and stir well.

Place in kettle on high heat. Bring quickly to a boil with bubbles over entire surface. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in pectin. Skim off foam with metal spoon. Fill jars and seal.
