SUN CROCK PICKLES 
1 gal. jar fill with any size cucumbers

1 c. white vinegar, 5% acidity
8 tbsp. salt, Kosher
About 3 or 4 stalks dill
2 or 3 cloves garlic
Optional: 1 med. hot pepper
1/2 to 1 tsp. alum

Fill with water and set in sun a little light, try and enjoy. They keep well in refrigerator a long time.
