BROWNIE MOUNDS 
3 1/3 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. Karo light syrup
2 eggs
6 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. nuts, coarsely chopped

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. In large bowl mix butter and sugar. Stir in syrup and eggs. Stir in flour mixture; mix well. Add remaining ingredients; stir.

Drop by heaping tablespoons onto greased baking sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven 10-12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.

Be sure not to overbake as they'll be dry. A pleasing new twist on the usual brownie.
