FRIED CABBAGE 
2 tbsp. bacon fat
1 1/2 lbs. shredded cabbage
2 tbsp. half and half
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar
Salt
Pepper

Heat fat in 10" skillet. Add cabbage. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently until light brown. Cover and cook about 5 minutes. Stir in half and half and lemon juice. Heat only until hot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Delicious, the ONLY way to make the real fried cabbage. Have to have that bacon fat. I can leave out the lemon/vinegar.. Southern Fried Cabbage
