RAW APPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. warm coffee
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. peeled diced raw apples

TOPPING:

2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Blend sugar, shortening, eggs and warm coffee together. Sift dry ingredients and add. Fold in apples. Put into 13 x 9 inch pan. Mix topping and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.
