FANNY FARMER FUDGE 
1 (1 2/3 c.) can evaporated milk
4 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
3 (6 oz.) pkgs. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Stir milk and sugar together in large pan, let boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly over medium flame. Remove from heat and add other ingredients. Set pan in cold water, stir until cool and thick. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch pan, refrigerate. Makes 5 pounds.
