LONG - SHORT GRAIN BROWN RICE | |
2 c. water 1 c. brown rice 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. salt Stove top method. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice, butter and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes. Remove from heat, let stand covered 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. Serve plain, buttered or serve with other foods. Serve 4-8 or 3 cups. |
