QUICK, EASY GLAZED CARROTS 
6 med. carrots, sliced
1 med. apple, chopped and sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Boiling, salted water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter

In a medium saucepan, cook the fresh carrots, covered, in boiling salted water about 15 minutes, or until tender. (Or cook frozen carrots according to package directions). Drain thoroughly.

Add apple, brown sugar, butter and lemon juice to carrots in saucepan; mix well. Cover and cook about 5 minutes or until apple is tender. Yield: 6 servings.
