PUMPKIN BREAD | |
3 c. sugar 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. each allspice, nutmeg, cloves & cinnamon 4 eggs 2 c. fresh or canned cooked pumpkin 1 c. oil 1 c. water or 1/2 c. water plus 1/2 c. rum, brandy or cherry heering 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. raisins Combine sugar, flour, soda, salt and spices. Mix eggs, pumpkin, oil, water and rum; combine with dry ingredients, mixing well. Fold in pecans and raisins. Bake in greased Bundt pan 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees. |
