STRAWBERRY BARS 
1 pkg. strawberry muffin mix
1/2 stick butter, softened
2/3 c. strawberry preserves
1 tbsp. water
Confectioners' sugar

Heat oven to 325 degrees. With fingertips, combine muffin mix and butter until crumbly. Pat into a ungreased 9 inch square pan and bake about 20 minutes. Mix together preserves and water. Spread over crust. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer. Sift confectioners' sugar over preserves. Cool. Cut into bars.
