CRANBERRY SALAD 
1 lb. cranberries
2 med. oranges
2 med. apples
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 pkg. or 6 oz. orange Jello
2 c. hot water
1 c. cold water
1 c. diced celery

Grind cranberries, oranges and apples. Stir in sugar and salt. Make Jello. Mix fruit into Jello. Add celery. Chill to set. Top with dressing.

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter
2 egg yolks, beaten and salted
Juice of 1 lg. orange
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 c. Cool Whip or whipped cream

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and juices. Cook a few minutes. Add a few spoons of hot liquid to egg yolks to warm. Add butter. Cook a little longer. Cool. When completely cool, fold in Cool Whip. Serve immediately.
