GARNISHED SAUERKRAUT 
6 slices bacon
1 chopped onion

1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained
2 med. size carrots, bias sliced
1 tbsp. sugar
1 bay leaf
Salt, pepper and cloves
1 tbsp. parsley
1 can chicken broth

Bring to boil. Cook 15-20 minutes. Add 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices on top. Put 4 smoked pork chops and 4 knockwurst, scored diagonally. Cook 30 minutes or until vegetables are done. 4-6 servings.
