FUNNEL CAKE 
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2/3 c. milk

Mix well first 5 ingredients, then add egg and milk. Batter must be thin enough to pour from pitcher. Heat oil in a large pan deep enough to fry like deep frying. When hot, pour batter in oil in a spiral motion. Let brown on one side. Then turn over. When done, place on plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve hot.
