STRAWBERRY - RHUBARB PIE | |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. One bottom and the extra top crust, thoroughly thawed. 1 1/4 c. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 1/3 c. flour 1 tsp. grated orange rind 2 c. fresh strawberries, cleaned & sliced 2 c. fresh rhubarb, cut into 1" pieces 2 tbsp. butter Mix together sugar, salt, flour and orange rind. Add fruits and mix well. Pour into pie shell. Dot with butter. Cut strips from the top crust and make a lattice top, if desired. Bake at 400 degrees about 40-45 minutes. |
