“CHEESE ROLLS” IS IN:

CHEESE ROLLS 
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup butter or shortening
6 oz. grated cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 450°F.

Sift dry ingredients (except for cheese) into a bowl, mixing well. Cut in butter. Make a well in the center of the flour and pour in the milk all at once.

Form a ball of dough and knead lightly on a lightly floured surface. Roll out 1/4-inch thick and sprinkle with cheese generously. Roll up, jelly-roll style and slice into pieces about 1-inch thick.

Place onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 450°F for 12-18 minutes or until golden brown.
