QUICK RAISIN BREAD 
2 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour, unsifted
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening shortening

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Set aside. Mix shortening and sugar until smooth. Stir in eggs until smooth. Beat well. Mix half of the flour mixture and milk into egg mixture. Stir in rest of flour and milk just until smooth. Stir in raisins. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes until browned. Cool bread in pan for 10 minutes.
