1 lb. ground beef 4 slices American cheese 1 can tomato sauce Make a thin pattie in palm of hand. Top with a slice of cheese. Top with another patty. Seal edges together. Fry in skillet on one side, then the other side until brown, not cooked. Drain off grease. Pour tomato sauce around patties. Cover and cook over low heat for about 25 minutes. Before serving, top with more cheese, if wanted. Makes 4. |
