HOLIDAY INN MUFFINS 
3 c. allbran
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 qt. buttermilk
6 oz. golden raisins
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Put 1/2 cup allbran into bowl. Pour boiling water over and let stand to soften.

Mix all ingredients, add softened allbran, mix well. Bake in greased muffin tins or cupcake liners at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. If using cupcake liners, fill to 1/4 inch of top.

Makes approximately 30 muffins and the batter can be saved refrigerated for three weeks.
