CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 (4 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
1 devil's food cake mix
1 chocolate fudge icing mix

Drain juice from cherries and add water to make amount called for on cake mix package and almond flavoring. Chop cherries fine and drain. Make batter for cake using cherry juice water mixture as liquid as directed on package. Fold in nut and chopped cherries. Bake as directed on package. Frost with icing mix.
