CHICKEN PAPRIKASH
1 frying chicken, cut up, about 3 lb.
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. chicken broth
1 tomato, peeled and diced
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. minced dry onion
2 tbsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. dairy sour cream (or Sour Wonder)

Brown chicken in oil in a large skillet. Pour off excess fat. Add broth, tomato, pepper, onion, paprika, and garlic powder. Add enough water to almost cover the meat. Cover. Simmer 40-45 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes or so, until tender. Remove chicken to serving platter.

Combine flour with enough water to make a thick liquid. Stir into the pan juices. Heat to simmering, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream. Heat gently.
