CARAMEL APPLE PIE 
6 c. sliced apples
1/3 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 tbsp. melted butter
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Arrange apple slices in pastry lined plate. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over apples. Bake 45 minutes until brown.
