BUTTERSCOTCH CHIP COOKIES | |
1 stick butter, at room temperature 1/2 c. shortening 3/4 c. white sugar 3/4 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tbsp. warm water 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 1 c. nuts 1 c. butterscotch chips Cream butter and shortening. Add white and brown sugar, beat well. Add eggs, salt, vanilla, soda and water; mix again. Add flour, nuts and chips. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. |
