3 1/4 c. sugar, granulated 3 c. water 2 oz. whole cloves (or 2/3 c. whole cloves) 2 oz. cinnamon sticks, broken (or 1 c. cinnamon sticks, broken) 3/4 c. lemon juice 3 c. pineapple juice 1 1/2 qt. orange juice 3 1/4 qt. apple juice Salt to taste Simmer the granulated sugar, water, whole cloves and cinnamon sticks for 10 minutes. Strain and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot in glass or cup. NOTE: This may be chilled and served cold, also. Approximately yields 6 1/4 quarts. Approximate servings 50 (4 ounce or 1/2 cup). |
