DEER STICK 
5 lbs. ground meat
2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
2 1/2 tsp. coarse pepper
2 1/2 tsp. Liquid Smoke
5 tbsp. Mortons Quick Tender Cure

Mix well and let stand refrigerated for 3 days in sealed container. Knead everyday for 5 minutes. Bake for 9 hours at 160 degrees. Turn over at 4 1/2 hours. Bake on a cookie sheet. Drain on paper towels when through.
