BUTTER COBBLER 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
4 c. sweetened fruit and juice

Melt butter in deep pan (in oven) which cobbler is to be baked. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and milk; pour over melted butter. Pour fruit and juice over batter. DO NOT STIR. Fresh peaches, cherries or other berries are good to use. Canned fruit can also be used. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream. This can be frozen and reheated for later use.
