MUSHROOMS IN VERMOUTH 
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp. minced onion
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. dry vermouth

Saute mushrooms and onions in butter 4 minutes. Combine cornstarch and brown sugar in a small jar. Add soy sauce and vermouth. Shake well. Add the mixture to mushrooms and onions. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Serve with grilled meats. 4 servings.
