CHERRY CHOCOLATE KISSES 
1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped & drained maraschino cherries
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Red food coloring
48 Hershey kisses
2 tsp. cherry juice

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix in big bowl butter, sugar, cherry juice, almond extract and food coloring; blend well.

Mix in flour and salt. Add cherries; mix well. Firm dough in 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Immediately top with a kiss. 48 cookies.
