1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
3 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. mince meat

Beat egg slightly and add sugar and shortening and cream together. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. When all is mixed well, gently fold in the mince meat. Drop by tablespoon on a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees.
