PECAN PIE BARS 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
4 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix first 3 ingredients like fine meal. Press firmly in 9-inch pan.

Bake at 375°F for 10 to 15 minutes until edges are slightly browned.

Combine last 8 ingredients; pour over crust.

Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Shield with foil along sides so edges don't get dry and hard. Cut into 1 1/2-inch bars.
