DIFFERENT MASHED POTATOES 
Cooked potatoes, ready to mash
Low fat cottage cheese
Herb/seasoning to taste (such as parsley, chives, dill)

Replace butter and milk in standard mashed potatoes recipe with cottage cheese (potatoes should be slightly cooled in order to avoid melting cottage cheese). Mash potatoes, cottage cheese and herb/seasoning together until well mixed and mashed. Choose herb/seasoning to complement main dish. For example, dill is tasty with fish.
