FRESH OYSTER STEW 
12 oz. fresh oysters
1/4 c. butter
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1 tsp. paprika

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add drained oysters and cook until edges curl. Add milk, salt, pepper and paprika. Bring almost to boiling point and serve at once with oyster crackers.
