POPPY SEED DRESSING 
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. onion juice
2 c. salad oil
3 tbsp. poppy seeds

Mix sugar, mustard, salt and vinegar. Add onion juice and stir in thoroughly. Add oil, slowly beating constantly, and continue to beat until thick. Add poppy seeds and beat for 2 to 3 minutes. Store in refrigerator. Serve over fruit salad.

Makes 3 1/2 cups.
