ANGEL BISCUITS 
6 c. self-rising flour
1 c. solid Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1/3 c. water
2 pkgs. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. water

Warm 1 cup of the milk enough to melt with shortening and sugar. Let cool. Add eggs, then soda and yeast, then flour. Cover with wet cloth and keep in refrigerator. Take out when needed and cook at 400 degrees.
