SKILLET PORK CHOPS N' RICE 
1 sliced onion
2 tbsp. oil
4 (1/2 " thick) pork chops
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. regular rice (uncooked)

Saute' onion in oil. Salt and pepper chops; add to skillet and brown on both sides. Remove chops. Add water, brown sugar, salt and pepper and 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce to skillet. Heat and stir, bringing to boiling point. Add rice to skillet and stir. (There will be a lot of liquid, but rice will absorb it.) Add chops. Cover skillet and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour remaining tomato sauce over chops. Cover and cook for 15 minutes longer. 4 servings.
