BUNUELS (FRIED CINNAMON CRISPS) 
4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 c. anise tea

Prepare 1 cup tea by boiling 3 teaspoons anise. Stir dry ingredients and add shortening and blend. Add beaten egg and lukewarm tea to dry ingredients and knead dough. Make small dough balls and shape into patties. Let stand for 1 hour. Roll out as thin as possible.

Fry in deep fat until golden brown. Prick tortillas with fork when dropped into fat to make them puff.

In brown paper bag, mix 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon to 4 teaspoons sugar. Toss fried crisp tortilla in paper bag to coat with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
