CINNAMON APPLE CRISP 
1/4 c. red hot cinnamon drops
2 tbsp. water
6 c. peeled, sliced apples (approx. 6 apples)
2/3 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
Vanilla ice cream or half and half

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Dissolve cinnamon drops in water in a small saucepan over low heat. Pour over apples and toss. Turn apples into buttered 9" square baking pan. combine flour and sugar in a small bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Spread over apples. Bake about 45 minutes or until apples are tender and top is lightly browned. Serve warm with ice cream or half and half.
